I have financed and invested more than $30 billion in real assets over twenty-five years, across real estate, infrastructure and aviation. Eighteen of those years were at Doric Group, where the platform included A380 aircraft leased to Emirates, and six at Citi. Today I run Greenpeak Capital, an independent capital advisory firm in Dubai working across debt advisory, capital formation and fund architecture. Credit side or equity side, the question is the same: does the structure survive the downside.
